Arts for Health annual art exhibition and competition

Arts for Health as part of its community service hosts an annual art competition and exhibition. The purpose of this event is to develop a healthy and vibrant community using the creative arts, and to build wider community partnerships. This event is open to all members of the community and is our major fundraising event.
All entries are to be received at Arts for Health Community Trust, 2 Seddon Road, Hamilton between 8am and 11am on Friday 10th August (unless prior arrangements have been made). The entry fee for Adults is $20 per entry, and $10 per entry for Students. You may enter as many entries as you like.
There are two sections again this year – Adults’ section and Students’ section (under 18 years of age). First prize for Adults’ section is $1,000 and for Students $150.
There will also be Merit prizes and the People’s Choice Award.

Times:

Opening Night and announcement of winners will be held Friday 17th August at 5.30pm. The gallery will be open on the Saturday and Sunday (18th and 19th) between 1pm and 4pm. Gold coin donation appreciated.
